There are rare occasions where there is no class, check out updates (no news means classes are on-going as usual) or subscribe to our Facebook page for immediate updates.

We have a policy to start classes on time and as is the tradition of ballet, students are expected to be here at the start of class. Out of respect to teachers and fellow students, anyone arriving fifteen minutes will no longer be permitted to enter class for any reason. Thank you for your cooperation!

  • Advanced Beginners class on Sunday at 2pm (Singapore Dance Theatre)
  • Beginner Ballet class on Saturday 5pm (YMCA)

Please note that these are private group classes with Chen Wei, the ballet instructor and they are not affiliated with Singapore Dance Theatre.

Private ballet classes are available for all levels – absolute beginners to professional levels.

They are subject to availability of the instructors’ schedule and studio.

Lessons start from 1.5 hours for beginners. Lessons can be arranged for up to 3 hours for intermediate to advanced levels. You may either book your own dance studio (which may require a transport fee if it is more than 15 minutes away from city center), or get discounted studio rates through us.

Please email [email protected] to book a private ballet class or for more information.

Why take private lessons?

If you’re an absolute beginner, private lessons can help you grasp the basics better and enable you to progress much faster (or feel more comfortable). For intermediate and advanced levels, you may work on a specific area or use these classes to spend more time on progressive technique, train for an exam, work on choreography, or get coaching for an up and coming performance.
